Momentarily MesmerizedClear drops,  
silently dot the  window-  each holding a  tiny, distorted version  of the world  on the other side  tiny, innocent droplets,  rolling gently down  the cold, hard, glass  catching hold of one  
another, growing bigger,  twisting and turning  traveling slowly  
down the panes  the tiny drops  keeping rhythm  with the pitter patter  
of soft rain on the roof  mesmerizing everyone.  All stop and  take time to  
watch the tear drops  from the sky  dot the window,  
each holding a  
miniature image   Momentarily Mesmerized

Goodbye.Tears roll slowly  
down her raw  red cheeks,  mixing with the rain until  you can't tell which  drops are tears  and which drops are from above.  As she kneels  
in the mud  her dark eyes  locked on his  name engraved in  
the cool, gray marble,  wondering where he went wrong.   
Soaking wet, mud-covered,  she slowly rises,  as she stands ankle-deep  in the mud by his grave,  rain mixed with  
the freshly-turned dirt,  
she cries  
out, wondering  
why.  and for the first time  she's standing  alone.  But yet Goodbye.

Why Take Him?If he had lived,  I wouldn't be here.  My parents only wanted  
two kids around the house.  With my brother still alive,  
I wouldn't be sitting here today  So I know there was a reason.  
There has to be a reason.  God wanted me to stay,  and Zachary to go.  But what could it be?  
What can I do  
to make the pain  worthwhile?  What is it that I'm going to contribute  to the world  that makes the pain,  the agony in my mother's hazel eyes  worth it?  What can I do,  to live up to the opportunity that I was given  through the pain and misf Why Take Him?

StormDark endless corridor  Shadowed by  trees.  Windshield wipers  Can't keep up  With the drumming drops  On the glass.  No place to stop.  
No end in sight.  Intimidating endless road  White lines almost undetectable  
Racing along  Against the storm,  Racing to safety.  Tail lights in the distance  Eyes straining to see  Hazards and danger  
Looming ahead  Invisible.  So we press on,  Racing the storm,  Through the  
Dark endless corridor,  Engulfed in shadows  Of the never ending trees  Daring us to continue. Storm
